The Graduate College was established in 2005 but a program of graduate students was launched earlier in 1995 with three Msc students majoring in agricultural sciences and one M.A student majoring in public law.
Aims of the Graduate College
1. Planning and developing programs for graduate studies and scientific and educational research .
2. To develop local community and contribute to solve social,
cultural, educational and economical problems.
3. To satisfy post college training and qualification needs.
4. Incooperating research programs and develop scientific relation with local and foreign universities and research centers.
5. To supervise graduate study programs of the university
colleges and affiliating centers.
Study Programs
1. Higher Diploma (post college )
-The duration is one academic year (minimum) or two academic years (maximum).
- Students are evaluated on basis of ultimate evaluation of the whole batch.
-The total of credit hours is 24 credit hours.
-Students evaluation is continuous through seminars, reports assignments, tests, exams or other means of evaluation.
-The evaluation of student’s performance of each syllabus is continuous through seminars reports, assignments, tests, exams and other menthol of evaluation.
2. Master program:
- The study duration of the master program is a minimum of two academic years or a maximum three academic years.
- The total of credit hours is 24 hours (minimum) and 48 credit hours (maximum).
- Students’ evaluation is based on ultimate evaluation of the whole batch.
- The evaluation of the students’ performance of each syllabus is continuously done through seminars
3. Doctoral program
- Duration of study is three gears (minimum) and five years (maximum). |
